Estetik burun ameliyatı olan hastaların çoğu iki gün içerisinde ayağa kalkıp dolaşırlar ve ameliyattan bir hafta sonra okula veya çok yorucu olmayan iş hayatına dönebilirler.

Bununla beraber, günlük yaşam temponuza tam anlamıyla dönmenizden önce ,birkaç hafta geçecektir. Normal hayatınıza dönme konusunda cerrahınız daha ayrıntılı açıklamalarda bulunacaktır. Genellikle ,yüksek efor gerektiren hareketlerden (koşma, yüzme, jimnastik, seks -kan basıncınızı yükseltecek herhangi bir hareket) iki ila üç hafta kaçınmanız, 8 hafta süreyle burnunuzu darbe veya çarpmalardan korumanız, ovuşturmaktan ve güneşte yakmaktan kaçınmanız söylenecektir. Yüzünüzü ve saçlarınızı yıkarken veya makyaj yaparken nazik ve dikkatli olunuz.

İhtiyaç olduğu zaman kontak lensinizi takabilirsiniz, fakat gözlük için durum farklıdır. Burnunuzdaki atel çıkarıldıktan sonra, burnunuz tamamen iyileşinceye kadar, yani iki ay boyunca gözlük ayakları burun sırtına oturmamalıdır.

Doktorunuz, iyileşmenizdeki gelişmeyi kontrol etmek , ameliyattan sonraki bir ay süresince,sizi sık sık kontrole çağıracaktır. Bu kontrol muayeneleri arasında sıra dışı herhangi bir şikayetiniz veya ne yapıp ne yapmayacağınız konusunda herhangi sorununuz olursa doktorunuzu aramakta tereddüt etmeyiniz.
